River was sired by my beautiful boy Hayden and her mama is Raine. River is the most loyal dog I have had the pleasure to own. My constant, my shadow, my best girl. There are no words to describe what a special girl she is. River is extremely easy going, low key, and laid back. She always enjoyed “trying” to "herd" our horses, but is always sure to keep that couch in line and hold it down! We own River's grandson Zaire and 2 of her great-grand kids Delta and Trip.

River's registered name "Dreaming of Rio" comes from, of course, the continuing tradition of the pedigree- her dam "Rio Rhapsody" and grandpa "Rio Bravo". And her call name "River" comes from the translation of rio meaning river in Spanish.

River had her last litter born via c-section May 2014, and is now spayed and fully retired. River resides retired with me and continues to be a much loved and spoiled pet!

Even when this world is a forgotten whisper of dust, I will still love you. I was so privileged to share your time on earth.
